Senior Design Manager - Hospitality

- Managing the Architecture and Interior design of projects such as hotels and hotel villas, resorts, restaurants, F&B, spa, clubhouses and offices.

- Collaborate with Project Management Consultants and coordinate work with design consultants, such as  AR/ID/Lighting/landscape/artwork/signage and international Hotel Operator Group. Making sure approved design and operational requiremets will be implemented and provided.

- Coordinate with the project development department to work with the management agencies of the local government.

- Assist to link-up other internal BIM departments to project consultants in obtaining their requirements (marketing, real estate...).

- Manage and coordinate the Artwork, decor and styling of each hospitality projects.

- Reviewing Design and Design Drawings submitted by AR/ID/Landscape/Lighting/Artwork/ consultants.

- Review and coordinate all interior/architectural finishing materials in accordance with approved design.

- Make occassional visit to construction site for design coordination and resolving of design issues arising from the site conditions. Approving of propose materials from contractors making sure its in accordance to the approved specs.

- Sourcing and sending Request for Proposal for AR/ID/Landscape/Artwork/Signage, as well as reviewing the RFP and recommending the appropriate consultant for the particular discipline.

- Other tasks assigned by the BOD.

1. Education level: Graduated from reputable university majoring in Architecture/Interior Design.

2. Experience: At least 5 years experienced with same position/responsibilities handling projects from concept to completion, in Vietnam or other countries.

3. Skills:

- Have knowledge in design trends and building design materials.

- Have experience and knowledge of: All aspects of Hospitality Interior Design, including space planning, FF&E, materials; Typical building regulations as relates to interior construction; Interior Design processes, including current consultants' practices, typical scope and abilities; Design Team Structures, including combinations of Concept and Executive Designers.

- Have an eye for design, including color, and good 3D awareness.

4. Language requirements: Must be able to speak and write in English/Vietnamese to be able to communicate both to foreign and local consultants/contractors.

5. Computer skills: 

- Knowledge in Sketch up/Photoshop/Indesign/AutoCad/Revit is an advantage. Landscape design experienced also advantage.

- Proficient in using office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ...).

6. Others:

- Be able to work in a team environment.

- Good organization and communication skills.

- Hard working, be able to work under pressure meet challenging deadlines.
