Software Engineer Trainee

Joining the AI/ML team to help build software solutions to solve real business problems. As a trainee, you will be guided by experienced mentors and collaborate with cross-functional teams. We expect you to build up your engineering skills, to be able to start working independently at the end of the program. 

-  Participate in technical onboarding and continuous learning sessions to strengthen software engineering fundamentals;

-  Support the development and maintenance of data and AI products for marketing and promotion, discovery, recommender systems;

-  Collaborate with senior engineers in designing, building, and optimizing scalable backend systems;

-  Work across diverse environments such as Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS);

-  Explore and apply DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools when needed.

    Outstanding Academic

-   Background Minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0 or 8.0/10;

-   Proficient in English: B2, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 800, Cambridge C1 (nice to have);

-   Less than 2 years of full-time work experience and available to join full-time;

    Department-specific Requirements

-  Good knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Go, Python;

-   Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms;

-   Communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

-   A growth mindset – eager to learn, improve, and take on challenges;

-   Experience participating in or winning awards in informatics or programming competitions (e.g., Olympiads, ICPC, hackathons, etc.).
