Remittance Intern

Local and overseas payments

 •   Receive and record to registered books all payment orders from customers and incoming payments from nostro banks.

•   Verify authorized customers’ signatures and stamp for required documents.

•   Process payment, make tracer if any.

•   Run EOD clearing for local payment.

•   File remittance documents.

•   Follow up pending documents relating to transactions processed.

•   Follow up pending remittances (tracer, returned payment, pending payment order).

FX/MM settlement

•    Process funds transfer, validate FX/MM settlement in core system based on confirmation and ticket given by Capital markets & Treasury.

•   Follow up status of sent out FX/MM settlement.

•   Follow up and process FX/MM settlements on value date and/or due date.

•   File FX/MM settlement documents.

Others

•   Book interest and charges in Nostro bank’s accounts.

•   Process VAT invoice.

•   Back up for other staffs in peak time or during their absence.

•   Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Department.

•   Be familiar with Microsoft office.

•   Good level in English.

•   Responsible, team-work spirit, dynamic.

•   Good analytical and numerical skills; able to review transaction details and identify discrepancies promptly.

 Experience/ Qualification and Education

Experience

•   General understanding of local and international remittance.

•   Experience in the banking industry is an advantage.

Education

•   Under-graduate student.

•   Major in Banking or Finance.

•   GPA: >=7.0/10
